![]() However I get an error saying: "Unable to create hole. ![]() ![]() I'd like to manipulate those other files in various ways, such as changing their dimensions to 'stretch' them in any given axis, smoothing out features to reduce the level of detail, or in the case of one file, I'd like to bore a hole through it using the hole function. STL files to test other design concepts and experiment with alternate possibilities. Right now, I'm working on a project of my own design which is being modeled directly in InventorPro (I have Autodesk Product Design Suite Ultimate 2013), but I'm also using a MakerBot for the purposes of importing and adapting. I'm kind of stuck on something at the moment, and need a couple pointers if you'd be so kind I'm not a 'pro', but dabbled years ago with an early version of Rhino (v.2, if memory serves) along with a desktop vertical mill (MaxNC) I had at the time. New member here, just getting my feet wet with Inventor. ![]()
